CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAS
Catholic Daughters of the Americas was formed in 1903 and is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic Women in the world. Nationally, we have 63,000 members, and growing, with 1,150 local chapters in 45 states across the country. We are also in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, Kenya and Peru.
We donate to charities, administer scholarships and strive "to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness." We embrace the principle of faith, and through the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary, we work in love to promote justice, equality, and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.

The new location and larger church was consecrated on June 6, 2004.
Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul, Italian Catholic Federation, CCD, RCIA, Men of St. Joseph, and so many other groups are filled with our parishioners that support the Pastor, the Pastoral Council, our youth and the whole community daily. IHM is well known for its fellowship, prayer, charity and many support services.
The Parish is dedicated to our Blessed Virgin Mother Mary, and we hold a Marian Conference, for three days each year.
(with the exception of the COVID restrictions in the year 2020)
April 30, 2016 our Court was established. We are a young court, only five years old! Pictured here is our new Honorable Regent Marina Khayat (left), and Past Regent Trisha Brittain (right).
The court struggled when COVID hit, and all new officers have been installed and are looking forward to building the court presence again! We hear the voice of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, "Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin!"
Join us! We welcome all Catholic Women in our community who are 18 and older to our court to share in our motto of Unity and Charity. We meet weekly at 7pm for prayer and just once a month for regular Court meetings. We meet both in-person and
on-line via Zoom. You do not need to be a member to join us in weekly prayer, but if you are interested in learning more about becoming a Catholic Daughter,
please reach out to us!
Our court meets every Thursday evening at 7:00pm to pray the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. We offer up any personal intentions from the Court. Many blessings have occurred in just the short time we have installed this weekly Prayer practice. Let us Pray for you and for all your intentions! Join us, and come pray with us each week!
Our court has adopted a Seminarian! Antonio Espinoza is a local who grew up in the Immaculate Heart of Mary parish - he received the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation here. Our fundraising efforts and those who donate to our Court are helping to support him in his education at St. Patrick's Seminary.
Find out how you can donate to Catholic Daughters and support our Parish and local community. Send us an email to: Marina Khayat at marinaki.558@gmail.com
Our Court offers yearly scholarships to Catholic students within our community who are in High School and continuing College. The applicants must submit an entry form along with transcripts, an essay, and at least one letter of Recommendation. Pictured on the left is the daughter of a CDA member who won the scholarship in 2018.
