By definition, a circle a curved line with every point equal distance from the point of the center and bound together by a common interest. The seven point program of the CIRCLE OF LOVE is bound together by the common interest-LOVE.
The small heart in the center is taken from the logo of the HEART SPEAKS TO HEART program. By utilizing this portion of the logo and part of the HEART SPEAKS TO HEART program that is compatible with the CIRCLE OF LOVE, a smooth transition occurs.
The Cross and Crown in the center of the heart is the national symbol of the ORDER - the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. The seven points selected indicate the needs of the Church and community best served by the Catholic Daughters. The program itemizes these needs with suggestions on how Catholic Daughters effectively serve.
CDA Scholarships and Education Contests are apart of this spoke. Several programs and activities help those in our parish and community learn what CDA is all about; our spiritual nature and charitable works.
It is important to continue to nourish, develop, and deepen our relationship with God. Our service is a way to witness our Faith and deep Love of our family, parish, community and world. It helps us understand the value of our sisterhood as we also service and support each other.
Dedicated and truly inspired leadership is how the Catholic Daughters have remained the largest Catholic Women's organization in the world. As a member, we receive and learn the tools to implement as future leaders in our own local courts.
A national and even worldwide social awareness spoke in our Circle of Love. The activities include: Walk for Life, Human Trafficking Awareness, White Ribbons against Pornography, and many other prayer services for the sanctity of life.
What better role models do we have in Life to provide us guidance, support and love that we need daily other than the Holy Family? Courts designate time for praying together, working together, playing together, all essential elements of Family Life.
We support and respond to the needs of today's youth in order to help build a better future for all. CDA Courts work collaboratively within their communities to nurture personal and spiritual growth in several Youth Programs.
Although the Catholic Daughters of the Americas do not endorse any political candidates nor any political party, we still have an obligation to know and understand public issues, addressing the moral issues, while supporting the teachings of the Catholic Church.
